Congratulations to our student Larissa Hannam, who travelled to Leweston recently to compete in the European Triathle qualifying competition, where the top six competitors gained a place in Team GB. The Triathle is a swimming, running and shooting competition and whoever finishes in the fastest time is crowed the winner. Larissa powered her way through a 200 metre swim, a 2400 metre run and fired off 20 shots, finishing a whole 16 seconds ahead of her closest competitor and taking 1st place on the podium.
Larissa will now go on to compete at the European Championships in Weiden, Germany at the end of July and we wish her all the best with her promising athletic career.
